Cooking For Cats

Today's Guest Blogger is Teddy! He feels I spend way too much time at the computer an not nearly enough time giving him my full attention. Most evening he tries valiantly to help with the blog, but really he just makes it hard to find the keyboard. Anyway, today he decide to blog both here and at Lucindaville.

Today's cookbook is Cooking For Cats by Elizabeth Meyer zu Stieghorst-Kastrup. Cats need cookbooks, too!

This is what I want Lucinda to make for me. (And only for me not all those other cats who are mean to me.)

Cat Baseballs

80 g/3 oz(1/2 cup) rice
1 carrot
1 egg
1 tsp oil
100g/3 1/2 oz minced beef
80 g/3 oz(1/2 cup) oat flakes

1. boil the rice al dente in a little salt water and put into a bowl. Trim and grate the carrot and fold into the rice with the egg and the olive oil. finally add the minced beef.

2. Knead the ingredients thoroughly with moist hands and shape into little balls. Pour the oat flakes onto a plate and roll the balls in the flakes.

Yeah, I want me some of those. Lucinda can skip the oat flakes.

Teddy out.
